  • Yellowstone’s Grand Loop is something best enjoyed in multiple days. Two days allow for a more casual pace, less time in the car, and a chance to explore some of the other gateway towns such as Cooke City, MT or Cody, WY.

  • Day 1:

    • Get picked up at your accommodation at 6 am (earlier or later is possible). Begin your day by heading into Grand Teton National Park. Enjoy the spectacular morning light on the imposing Teton range while enjoying a cup of coffee and a bagel. Your guide will begin your education on the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem and will be on the lookout for wildlife meanwhile. Grand Teton in the earl morning almost ensures wildlife encounters. Before too long you will be crossing into Yellowstone National Park. You will spend this day exploring the eastern side of the park which is highlighted by the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone, Hayden Valley, Yellowstone Lake, and Dunraven Pass. The finale of the day is Yellowstone’s finest wildlife region, the Lamar Valley. Here you will look for huge numbers of bison, pronghorn, elk, etc. It is considered the best place in the world to view wolves in the wild. Bears of both species, are seen. You never know what will show up. Finally you will arrive in the tiny town of Cooke City, Montana. Arrangements will be made at a local restaurant for dinner. After, the comfort of your bed awaits.

    Day 2:

    • Wake up at 6am (earlier or later is possible. Best chance to see wolves comes at first light) eat a light provided breakfast or stop at a local breakfast eatery. Embark on an early morning drive into Lamar Valley. This is one of the most exciting wildlife opportunities Yellowstone has to offer. After your time in Lamar Valley you will head westward toward Mammoth Hot Springs. The route in is amongst the best places to see black bears and elk. Upon arrival you will walk the terraces of Mammoth Hot Springs and learn about the history of Fort Yellowstone. In the fall the sound of bugling elk fills the air. From here you will head south towards Yellowstone’s main geyser basins. You will see many of the parks famous features such as Old Faithful and Grand Prismatic Spring along with many others geothermal. Lastly you will begin your trip through Grand Teton en route to your Jackson accommodation. Along the way your guide will be looking for wildlife and new perspectives for you to enjoy.

    • Flexibility in itinerary to include more or less time spent out of the car doing short hikes, additional or alternative sites, and allocation of time.

    • $3000 for 2 people. $250 per additional person. Max group size 14.

    • An additional guide may be necessary for large groups wishing to do lengthy backcountry hikes, fish, or have unique requests. Second guide is $400 extra per day.

    • Accommodations range from $200-$500 in gate way towns. You will be responsible for covering your parties accommodation cost as well as that of your guide.

    • Park entrance fees not included. $40 per person or see options below. Payable by cash or credit upon entry in the park.

      • If you, or a member, of your party over 62 years old a senior annual National Park pass can be bought for $20 dollars which will cover up to 4 people. Senior lifetime National Park pass is $80 and covers up to 4 people.
