Brett in Ethiopia with a Narina Trogon

Brett Hellstrom

Brett is a great lover of ecosystems. For as long as he can remember, he has been fascinated with wildlife. His professional education is in biology, but his passion lies in learning everything he can about the complex pieces of an ecosystem. He is a life-long learner of wildlife biology and ecology, as well as earning his biology degree from University of Utah. He has worked studying wildlife throughout the American west, Ethiopia, Kenya, and Turkey. Brett’s specialty is to connect you to this place, to help you find your place in the ecosystem, and to show how all things are intricately connected so that you come away with an appreciation for this incredibly unique place on Earth. He moonlights as a guide in Africa where he also holds a tracking certification, and spends as much time exploring the rest of the world’s ecosystem as possible.

Gus Davis

Gus moved to Jackson in 2015 after graduating from University of Colorado Boulder with a degree in Environmental Science. After seeing the Tetons for the first time, moving was a very easy decision. He has been guiding throughout the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem since 2017; his motivation and passion for the job comes from being able to expose people to the truly unique amount of wildlife in our ecosystem. From high alpine adventures to kayaking the Snake River, Gus does it all in his free time, soaking up all the activities this corner of the world holds.

Bradley Parker

Bradley is a naturalist and devoted student of the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem. Brad has worked as a wildlife guide since 2013 and is known for his uncanny ability to find wildlife and his deep knowledge of Yellowstone and the Tetons. He is a skilled outdoor educator that can bring meaning to natural surroundings for any group. Outside of wildlife tours, he can be found guiding fly-fishing, guiding horseback trips, snowboarding, backpacking, mountaineering, and exploring wild lands of the world.

Neil Moore

Guiding since 2016, Neil has a depth to his passion for wildlife and the landscapes where they live that is without parallel. Neil grew up in San Francisco, CA. His interest in the outdoors grew from surfing, rock climbing, and working on a search and rescue team. He found his home in the Rockies when he moved to Montana to obtain his wildlife biology degree. From polar bears and mountain lions to moose and mule deer, Neil worked on a variety of wildlife research projects before moving to Jackson. On the side he guided backpacking and rock climbing trips around the west and that’s where his passion for guiding began.

You would be hard pressed to find a guide who knows these mountains better, or who has gone to greater lengths to find wildlife. You might think you hear echoes of the late great Steve Irwin from the great beyond when Neil is on the scene at a wildlife sighting.

'More than five stars'

If I could give more than five stars, I would in a heartbeat! Our morning with Brett exploring Grand Teton and looking for wildlife was incredible. He is professional and very knowledgeable - about everything! My 10 and 12 year olds peppered him with a vast array of questions, and they never stumped him. They are still raving about the day a week later! We are already talking about going back to explore Yellowstone with him. I highly recommend booking your adventure with Teton Wilderness Tours, you will not be disappointed!

A truly incredible experience! Highly recommend. My best friends and I booked the morning tour in August and we had Neil as our guide. HIGHLIGHT TRIP

We had the best time on our all day tour through Yellowstone! Gus was so knowledgeable and friendly as he guided us through the park. He accommodated bathroom breaks, stopped whenever we saw wildlife and took us to scenic locations that we wouldn’t have gone to if we didn’t book through Teton Wilderness Tours. This was the highlight of our trip to Wyoming and you’d be silly not to book with them!

PHENOMENAL TOUR

My husband and I had a phenomenal tour of Yellowstone with our guide, Gus! He was so knowledgeable about the park and took us to the best spots! He also planned everything so well between making sure we got to see Old Faithful to the best bathroom breaks. He made visiting the park such a breeze for first-time visitors. I would HIGHLY recommend booking a tour.
